Trapper Lake

Trapper Lake Lot 4
Apr. 3.59 acres
Apr.   GPS Coordinates:   N61° 58’ 31” and W150° 13’ 35”  -  Datum:  NAD 1927

If you want one of the nicest lots on Trapper Lake, here it is!  One of the “Best” views of Mt. McKinley and what a view it is, to look at a 4 mile high mountain from almost sea level.

This property will make you a beautiful place for your recreation cabin or you may even try to live in the wilderness.

Access to this property is more or less by snowmobile with a nice established trail, which starts at the parking lot just as you go across the Susitna River Bridge on the Parks Highway (left side going north).  From there it is about a 15 mile snowmobile ride.

One may get access to this area by ATV from Oilwell Road, but it would be strictly exploratory.  This is considered an off the grid, roadless area.

Or the easier way would be to charter a plane out of Willow and the flight from there is less than 20 miles to this wonderful location.

The lake offers some of the best Pike fishing in the area and now and then Red Salmon make it up to the lake, but most of the time the very active beavers block Trapper Creek so many times the salmon will not make it up from the Deshka River (Kroto Creek).

You will find Moose, Bear (both black and brown), the occasional wolf and other wildlife throughout the area.  Many migrating birds and water fowl make their home in the summer on Trapper Lake.  It is not unusual to see 3 or 4 pairs of Swans or Loons on the lake.

    Purchase Price:  $30,000.-
    Seller prefers cash.
