"Guide Area"

    Lease near Farewell Area

43,680 acre – CIRI Land (Native Corp.)

Moose – Dall Sheep – Bear - Caribou

The world renown master guide, John Latham, who held the guiding lease in this area for many years is thinking about retiring and will give somebody else the opportunity to continue doing what he liked best – Guiding.

John was of the guides who took care of the area in a true stewardship of the land. And now he wants someone to follow his path, maintaining the integrity of the land entrusted to him by the Native Corp.

This lease that ran in 5 year increments for many periods can be assigned (upon approval of CIRI Native Corp.) to the right person who meets the stringent qualifications to preserve the land and game for many generations to come.

The facility consists of a comfortable camp with equally comfortable sleeping cabins, kitchen and out camps with plenty of other equipment to make life easier in the wild. (For details see Appraisal) This road less wilderness area is apr. 150 air miles due west from Anchorage (the Ol' Farewell Airstrip). From there an ATV trail leads to this very private camp.

There is the possibility that one may use the area for non consumptive use, such as hiking, wilderness exploration, mountaineering, etc. (subject to CIRI approval).

It is a natural for hunters or a hunting guide. Hunters would have to be guided and the present lease holder would entertain such an arrangement subject to approval.

A private party, a guide or non consumptive users with the right idea would have access to paradise on earth.

Please check out the Appraisal, a valuation date of August, 2004, Pictures and Lease.

If you have the money for the asking price (verifiable) plus $5,000.- deposit, only then will consideration be given for the assigning/transferring of the lease hold interest.

For the qualified person, the price is $175,000.- which is $15,000.- higher than the appraised value of August 2004 and less than a 10% increase in almost 2 years.

Seller prefers cash but may look at financing a portion if the interested party has enough security to pledge.
